WWE is set to host its second-biggest premium live event of the year, SummerSlam 2026, on August 1 and August 2 in Minneapolis. A huge world title match is set to take place at this year's spectacle. In a shocking development, Adam Pearce snubbed a former Women's Champion ahead of the show.
It was recently announced that Rhea Ripley wouldn't be able to defend the WWE Women's Championship at SummerSlam. Hence, a Five-Woman Ladder Match was booked for The Biggest Party of the Summer to crown the interim champion. Four superstars have already secured their spots in the contest. Unfortunately for Nia Jax, she couldn't make the cut.
WWE recently released an exclusive video featuring Adam Pearce, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, and Giulia on X. In the video, Jax was seen demanding that Pearce add her to the Women's Championship match at SummerSlam. The Irresistible Force claimed that she was consistently robbed of major opportunities and deserved to compete for the coveted title in Minneapolis.
"Adam, I got scre*ed yet again. I know there's another spot in the Women's Championship match. Go ahead and put me in it. You're the GM. Who's more deserving than me? I keep getting scre*ed," Jax said when Pearce told her everyone has to earn their spot through qualifying matches.
Scrap Iron swiftly rejected Jax's demand and instead booked Lash Legend in a qualifying bout against Giulia. Legend was elated after receiving an opportunity to join the title match at SummerSlam. The former Women's Champion seemed confused at first, but she ultimately gave her vote of confidence to her tag team partner.
"You know what? That's fine because you're [Lash Legend] gonna bring it [the WWE Women's Championship] home for us. I have all confidence in you that you'll do it. It's gonna be great, yeah," Jax added.

Fan-Favorite Star Earned Her Spot in the WWE Women's Title Match This Week
Tiffany Stratton, Jade Cargill, and Charlotte Flair will be part of the Ladder Match for the Interim Women's Championship at SummerSlam. Before this week's SmackDown, two spots were available in the high-stakes contest.
WWE booked Chelsea Green and Kiana James in a qualifying match this past Friday. The Hot Mess pinned James following an Unpretty Her to reign supreme. With the win, Green became the fourth participant in the title bout at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Giulia and Lash Legend will soon lock horns to determine the final competitor in the Ladder Match to crown the Interim Women's Champion. It will be interesting to see if Jax helps Legend earn the opportunity after being snubbed by Adam Pearce.
